The White Rabbit Residency is a weeklong interdisciplinary arts residency for experienced and emerging creatives, taking place in August each year at Red Clay Art Farm. Artists are called upon to work in co-creation with nature to generate work that mirrors, interacts with, and draws inspiration from the land. This is achieved through creating living, natural studios around the forests, meadows, rivers, and shorelines that surround Red Clay. The White Rabbit Residency is an opportunity for artists to live communally with one another, with the potential for working collaboratively or independently in an imaginatively-charged environment.
The White Rabbit Festival is the culmination of the residency: a weekend-long public celebration where residents showcase their artwork to an audience of more than two hundred. The festival offers attendees open air art, live music, locally grown organic food, and camping.
